Some people may jump onto twitter carelessly and tweet freely without a second thought. Are their tweets less important? Do they provide relevant information or mindless rhetoric? I admit that I have been reluctant to join twitter as it was an unknown form of social media that I found intimidating.
Now that I have spent a few days with twitter, the water is warm and comforting! It is a place of information sharing, a wealth of knowledge, and yes mindless entertainment.
I have been playing it safe and only posting retweets, that I believe to be well worth the read. However, I need to find my own voice, so off with the training wheels. What is my voice? How do I want to be perceived by my peers? will I become a relevant source marketing and business information? Will I inspire people to take action? This will happen in time . . . one tweet at a time!
